[Population-census] Michigan PUMS Data Now Available

The 1% "Public Use Microdata Sample" from the 2000 Census was released
today for Michigan.
This 1% sample of actual detailed census responses (with identifying
information removed) allows users to perform their own custom
tabulations of census data.
Michigan's data are available for download at:
http://www2.census.gov/census_2000/datasets/PUMS/OnePercent/Michigan/
Another useful resource for users of PUMS data is the iPUMS website at
the University of Minnesota, which provides data and software for
analyzing PUMS data from the 1850 Census through the 2000 Census.
