[Maa-l] MAA Meeting - Hotel reservations

The MAA Board has been made aware of some difficulties with reserving rooms for the annual meeting.  The conference hotel is the Northpointe Inn in Mackinaw City.  We understand that some people have had trouble reaching someone by phone and that there have been problems with the web site reservations.

The Local Arrangements Committee has looked into the matter.  If you still need to make a reservation, then you need to call hotel at the 800 number (1-800-576-2842).  For the moment, I would avoid making a reservation through the web.  If no one answers when you call, then leave a detailed message, and they will get back to you.

MAA has reserved a block of rooms, and I understand that they're being taken a fairly quick rate.  If you plan to stay at the Northpointe, then you may want to make your reservation soon.
