In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: Sounds like a deal to me - just want it out of my garage. Hey, who's going to take care of her dog while she's in the joint? Ahhh, I recently did the lawyer bit too. My dad had a heart attack in Sept, and doc said he couldn't drive anymore. Brother offered to store the truck at his place because he had inside storage. I was hesitant but didn't have a reason other than I didn't trust him, and couldn't tell him that because I knew where that would lead. So I agreed. In January my brother sold my dad's truck and didn't tell me (years ago my brother was executor of my dad's stuff and that's when he got my dad to sign the title; a couple of years ago he changed it to me because he didn't trust my brother). He told my other brother and told him not to tell me, but he did tell me. I have power of attorney and he wouldn't give me the money ($13,000). I had to hire a lawyer to get that and my dad's hunting rifles back. As a result, he decided to cut him out of his will completely. So I hired another lawyer to change it from a will to a trust and cut him out. EVery once in a while my dad calls me to say that something else has gone missing from his garage or shed - ladder, set of socket wrenches, floor jack, box of garbage bags, rototiller, battery charger. Like I told you, my life has been very interesting of late.
